For those of us who can’t get enough Star Wars, Nissan is using its partnership with the popular sci-fi franchise to promote the redesigned Rogue SUV—and offer fans some exciting things in the process.

Having undergone a few exterior design changes, the Nissan Rogue will be receiving a Star Wars-themed special edition available in limited quantities. The 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition will be revealed at the LA Auto Show and will go on sale shortly after. If you want to see the Rogue in action, Nissan has also released an exciting trailer of the SUV in action—right in the middle of an epic Star Wars battle.

As an additional incentive to give in and buy a Star Wars special edition Rogue, Nissan will be including a full-size replica death trooper helmet for fans that enjoy “grown-up” toys.

To get in on this action, make sure you follow the LA Auto Show and enter the automaker’s Ultimate Access Sweepstakes in the meantime.

Details Emerge Regarding the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel

2018 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel
While the car won’t be released until the 2018 model year, details on the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze diesel have been announced.

Don’t let this year’s Volkswagen scandal fool you—“diesel” isn’t the dirty word that people think it is. For years, diesel vehicles have proven that there is a cleaner, safer, and more efficient way to fuel a car—and Chevrolet knows all of the possibilities that diesel holds.

The automaker has been working to create a Cruze diesel that will provide a much-needed option for those buyers searching for a solid diesel vehicle.

While the car won’t be released until the 2018 model year, details on the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze diesel have been announced. It will be powered by a 1.6-liter CDTi four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, with the transmission potentially being a nine-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox. With that combination, the Cruze diesel could earn around 50 mpg.

While 50 mpg seems improbably high, even for a diesel vehicle, note that the Vauxhall Astra—which shares many underpinnings—has a mpg rate of about 55. So, you can expect to see this exciting addition to the Cruze family to set the standard for all diesel vehicles to come.
For those people who care more about driving pleasure than purely fuel economics, the style and enhancements of the RS badge are rumored to be optionally offered on the Cruze diesel, resulting in a sporty Cruze RS that is sure to be a hit.
