If you love cars, we have the perfect destination for you. The Studebaker National Museum is located approximately 30 minutes from Elkhart in South Bend, Indiana. The Studebaker National Museum features tons of classic cars, including those unique to Indiana.

For Biking Fanatics

There are plenty of awesome biking trails all over the state for you to tackle. Take for instance Brown County State Park, which is about three and a half hours from Elkhart. These trails are some of the best trail systems in North America. In addition, these trails are the longest and most popular in Indiana.

Another popular trail is located at Bluhm Park. This park is approximately one hour from Elkhart and it’s a shorter trail of just 4.2 miles. However, it’s great for riders, with lots of twists and turns plus elevation changes. You can even hike, horseback ride, and ski here.

The most obvious thing to do at the lake would be to swim. Although many lakes might unfortunately be a tad bit dirty to swim in, most of the lakes near Elkhart are clear as crystal, inviting you to dive right in!

If you have the proper license and have found the proper location, then a day out on a boat fishing can be quite the relaxing activity. Although fishing is a skill that requires a good deal of patience, the reward of a caught fish makes the whole thing worth it!
